DSAM engages in fundraising through telemarketing under the Public Safety Solicitation Act, P.A. 298 of 1992. XENTEL Inc., is our professional fundraiser. All solicitation calls are recorded pursuant to the Act. Both DSAM and XENTEL Inc. are registered with the Michigan Attorney General's Office, Charitable Trust Section (517-373-1153).

 

Proceeds are used to help fund our Public Safety Video/DVD Library, Michigan Community Child Watch program, Public Safety College Scholarship program, the annual holiday Shop With A Sheriff program, law enforcement and corrections training, in addition to supporting the operation of the Deputy Sheriffs' Association of Michigan.
