Due to a strong showing by the membership of the Deputy Sheriff's Association of Michigan and it members organizations, binding arbitration for local Corrections Deputies is closer to reality than ever!

A number of DSAM members and leaders were called upon to testify at the hearing as well as Marquette County Sheriff Michael Lovelace who showed a remarkable amount of support for his local Corrections Deputies by telling the legislators present just how important this legislation was for his Deputies and those around Michigan.
